Dr. Shapour Daniel Golshani began his academic journey at UCLA, where he excelled in Biology with a focus on molecular biology and immunology, graduating with top honors. He then advanced his studies at UC Irvine Medical School as a Regent’s Scholar, earning his M.D. and laying the foundation for a distinguished surgical career.
Dr. Golshani completed a rigorous six-year residency in General Surgery at LA County - USC Keck Medical Centers, where he earned the Chief Resident Teaching Award. He further refined his expertise in the highly competitive Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Residency Program at UCSF, one of the top three programs nationwide. In his ninth year of surgical training, he returned to USC to serve as a Reconstructive Microsurgery Fellow under the mentorship of Dr. Randy Sherman.
Over the course of his training and through 25 years of private practice, Dr. Golshani has had the honor of collaborating with many of the pioneering masters in surgery and plastic surgery from the United States and Europe. Leveraging this extensive experience, he has developed a distinctive blend of scientific precision and artistic sensibility, continually advancing the field of Aesthetic and Reconstructive Plastic Surgery.
